Surveys Show Temporary Staffing Hiring Stable, Looking Up for 2012

Tweet After the country’s long economic slump, it looks like temporary staffing indicators are stabilizing and the percentage of companies looking to hire temporary staff could rise in 2012. Meanwhile, a late 2011 survey of more than 17,000 companies across the U.S. and Canada points to the potential increase. A hiring trends survey by Express Employment Professionals, a large privately-held staffing company, showed hiring trends in the commercial and light industrial sectors hold promising opportunities, and 32 of respondents planned new hires in those job sectors. In addition, 28 percent planned to add office clerical and administrative staffers.
